Valley Connect Outreach: Legacy Building
Last week, I had the incredible honour of traveling to Kentville, Nova Scotia to conduct a week of Transformative Legacy Building with Valley Connect Outreach.
This experience was incredibly healing for all involved. John Andrew, the Founding Director, said that, "the opportunity to get to the roots of who we are has been both liberating and healing. This process and the involvement of this team will ease the pressure around articulating and guarding the vision and aid in future planning. The Legacy Building exercise has far more to do with who we are than where we have been..."
The first two days were intensive interviews with their core team, where we delved deep into their points of power and points of pain within the organization. Learning about their history, challenges, triumphs, and aspirations laid the groundwork for the transformative journey ahead.
The last 3 days were full, long, wonderful days, traveling as a team through The Legacy Formula, something I cultivated to help organizations align their vision and operations. Together, we navigated through strategic exercises, collaborative workshops, and reflective sessions, sculpting their legacy with intention and clarity.
Reflecting on our time together, it's evident that delving into the essence of their organization has fortified not just their understanding of their purpose, but also their resilience and unity as a team. Through storytelling, reflection, and shared visioning, we unearthed the core values that drive Valley Connect Outreach forward.
As we wrapped up our week together, there was a tangible sense of empowerment and clarity in the air. Valley Connect Outreach now stands even stronger, armed with a deeper understanding of their legacy and a renewed sense of hope and purpose to guide them into the future. It was an absolute honour to be part of their journey, and I have no doubt that the seeds we planted together will continue to flourish for years to come.
